Ruth Bullis Montgomery Collection

Biography

Ruth Bullis Montgomery was born in Brooklyn, New York. She studied at Elmira College before receiving her nursing diploma from Johns Hopkins Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1927. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Health Education and School Nursing in 1963 from Jersey City State College. She worked as a private duty nurse and as a school nurse at a single high school in New Jersey from 1937 to 1964.
