M. Eloise Buehler Collection

Biography

M. Eloise Buehler was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She received her nursing diploma in 1896. From 1905 to 1906 she was a head operating room nurse at Howard Hospital in Philadelphia. During World War I she worked with the Veterans’ Bureau. She then worked for the United States Government Vocational Training Department.

The M. Eloise Buehler Collection consists of her nursing diploma and Maryland State Nurses certificate.
