Grace Replogle Kagarise Collection

Biography

Grace Replogle Kagarise was born in New Enterprise, Pennsylvania in 1897. She graduated from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia in 1922 with a B.S. in Home Economics. She is a graduating member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Training School for Nurses class of 1926. She retired from active nursing in 1927 following her marriage to Joe Lee Tyner. She remained active in the American Red Cross and taught Home Nursing classes during World War II.
