Biography
Ethel McCardell Hohman was born in Hagerstown, Maryland. She received her nursing diploma in 1943. Before attending Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing, she studied at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Scope and Content
The Ethel McCardell Hohman Collection consists of her nursing diploma, photos, a booklet of aphorisms from Elsie Lawler, her meal card, and pages from a scrapbook.
