Biography
Nancy Bourne Wayland was born in Crozet, Virginia in 1895. She was a member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Training School for Nurses graduating class of 1921. She married Hunter McClung and after his death married John James Gravatt in 1960.

Scope and Content
The Nancy Wayland McClung Gravatt Collection consists of her reminiscences of her nursing student experiences and her student and graduate nursing unifroms.
