Biography
Isabel Emory Davidson was a member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Training School for Nurses graduating class of 1920. She served as head nurse for the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1921. In 1922, she retired from full-time nursing after her marriage to Dr. Thomas Owen Gamble, a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a Hopkins physician. Together they had two daughters and a son. She remained active as a volunteer and a member of the Visiting Nurse Association.
