Biography
Katherine Good Amberson was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. After graduating from the Johns Hopkins Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1919, she went on to recieve both a Baccalaureate and a Master's degree from Columbia University in Administration in Schools of Nursing. She held the position of Department Head for Medical and Surgical Nursing at the New York Hospital in New York City.
