The Medical Archives artifact collections include fine and decorative arts and material culture from the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. This large collection of more than 10,000 artifacts and artworks represents the history of the people and work of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. These collections highlight the personalities of Johns Hopkins, demonstrate the tastes and cultural milieu of Baltimore residents, and document the changes in medical practice at one of the world's premier medical institutions.
