Sandra Dietzel

Dietzel, a pediatric nurse at Johns Hopkins, was born in Baltimore. She received her B.S.N. from the University of Maryland in 1983 and began her nursing career at The Johns Hopkins Hospital that same year.

She has studied design, drawing, and painting at Towson State University (now Towson University) and sculpting at the Schuler School of Art. She met her mentor David Zuccarini in 1988 and remains passionate about developing the classical painting technique in his studio.

Dietzel’s work has been exhibited in galleries in and around Maryland.
