Biography Alberta E. Bush was born in Baltimore. She worked for 50 years at Johns Hopkins, starting out in the medical library. In 1913, she moved to the dean's office, and in 1926 she became the registrar for the school of medicine, a position she held until her retirement in 1954. |

Scope and Content The Alberta E. Bush Collection consists of three scrapbooks containing clippings about the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. One scrapbook covers the years 1926 to 1931; the other two cover July 1945 to July 1946.
